SmartCollect® SC² is a scalable HMI/SCADA software for the visualization of electrical distribution and other physical parameters. The software has several options for event and warning messages. In case of power quality monitoring event messages, details for Camille Bauer devices can be read out at standard level from the integrated WebGUI.
The software can be used to integrate a wide range of measuring devices and sensors from any manufacturer. Furthermore, other data can be displayed in addition to the physical parameters – including virtual channels.
The software supports custom integration of the WebGUI. This gives the user access to various additional details and remote configuration options, depending on the device.
The high level of data collection enables full transparency of energy data. For analytical purposes (e.g. reduction of CO2 emissions, increase of energy efficiency as well as for the evaluation of savings potential), the EMS supports different panel views within the EMS dashboard. Various manual or automatic reporting functions support individual business analytics.
Use the zoom function to perform detailed analyses directly on the dashboard. When zooming in, all parameters in the overview on the dashboard are synchronized so that all associated quantities are displayed in relation to the data that was zoomed in on.

Interesting facts
It is important to note that software solutions always have a project character. Time and budget must be made available depending on the characteristics of the possible solution. This is not only because of the increasingly complex IT infrastructures and individual security barriers. Therefore, proper planning based on a realistic definition of objectives is fundamental. A software project “out-of-the-box” or as a “box-shifting-item” is not very realistic and leads to delays, increased costs and frustration on both the supplier and the customer side.
Attention with CSV
Data exports via CSV sound simple. However, the reality in the context of presentation and text structure is usually different. For this reason, appropriate expertise should be provided so that exports are used beneficially and do not contribute to “headaches” (see also Glossary)
